Biography
I work across portraiture, fine-art photography, and cinematic storytelling. I trained in photography at Mount Allison University, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts, and later studied Video Design and Production at George Brown College.
Working with both still and moving images changed how I see a frame. I think about light, pacing, and what happens just before and after the shutter, even when the final result is a single photograph.
Philosophy
I'm drawn to individuality and authentic expression. The photographs I care about most are the ones where someone stops performing for the camera, even for a moment, and something true comes through.
Approach
Whether it's a portrait, an engagement, a wedding, or a headshot, I start by understanding who you are and what the photographs are for. From there, I keep the process calm and unhurried so the session feels like time well spent, not a production.
